Creativity has felt like an elusive friend I had lost touch with in the past decade or so of my adult years due to a demanding career that I no longer had interest in. As a result, I felt creatively blocked and purposeless. Purely existing instead of truly living and not inspired by much of anything. Working with Dr. Tricia helped me to rediscover my creativity again and the realization that I cannot live my best life without making space to harness my creative side. She helped me assess what projects I wanted to work on and guided me on setting creative goals I wanted to achieve for myself. Our conversations always ignited new ideas and she helped keep me accountable. I always look forward to our sessions because I never know what will come out of our discussions but it’s always inspiring!

I had seven coaching sessions with Dr. Wolanin to develop my first online course. Wither her guidance, I was able to set small, achievable objectives that helped me to pace myself so that I would not be overwhelmed by thinking about everything I needed to do. She really helped me to narrow my focus and pace myself. I know that I would not have completed my course without her assistance! I highly recommend working with her.

Tricia’s creativity coaching helped me to feel a sense of natural confidence, a feeling of “why of course I could do this -insert creative ambition here-; why would there be any reason I possibly couldn’t?” The Creative in me felt highly honored; her reception of my feelings, even when I felt extremely vulnerable, resulted in my an affirmed wisdom that there is something wise and guiding inside of my creative force that I can choose to follow at any time. Thank you Dr. Tricia Wolanin!

My passion, my profession, and my podcast are all about death. Creating a podcast has been something I’ve desired for as long as I have been listening to them. So when I wanted to combined my passion of normalizing death in the format of a podcast, it was just a concept. When I decided on what I wanted to focus on, it then required putting that concept into motion and following through with the project which required more than just my desire, but, continuous motivation and encouragement that pushes through creative barriers.

Dr. Wolanin has coached by extending her support to turn my idea into a possibility. She has given me the tools to get past any of the difficulties in my creative journey by helping to define my goals and create a plan that makes them more attainable. She has given me the permission to continue expanding my concept and ideas by asking questions that I didn’t even know should be asked which then brings me to conclusions that keeps me motivated. The topic of death is a sensitive one, so it is easier to shy away from the project rather than following through. However, Dr. Wolanin has given me the confidence in knowing that my voice and my project are worthy of being put out into the world. I am empowered to continue with this project knowing that I have someone who is going to understand the difficulties of keeping a creative project alive. My podcast that focuses on death will now not creatively die, but be something that could of some value to others.

“I’ve tried to do The Artist Way a couple of times by myself, but always given up on the way.  With Tricia, I stay motivated and get so much more out of it.   Tricia’s relaxed but at the same time, has a firm attitude and gentle guidance through exercises make it all fun and insightful.  She inspires me to stay inspired.”
